Ken Breniman
Content Strategy • Copywriting
Ken's old website had become, in his own words, like one of those corner bodegas that started out selling just a few items, but over time crammed in more and more until there's barely room to walk around. While this may actually be a helpful trait in a bodega (you need it, they've got it!), I think less can be so much more when it comes to content.
For this project, I helped draw out the essence of Ken's offerings and — importantly — who he's offering them to, and Helene Cotton worked her design magic.

Kate already had exceptional product and class offerings, but was struggling to convey her brand in a way that spoke to her target audience. I took the time to understand the lifestyle of her ideal client, ultimately settling on calming colors and large imagery to accompany flowing copy that emphasizes the brand’s healing mission.
Easy-to-manage shop and events pages mean Kate can spend more time in the garden — and less time in front of a screen.

Meaghan and Mark wanted to stand out in a crowded field of personal injury lawyers. I drew attention to their experience, empathy, and approachability with a clean and easy-to-navigate website that sets them apart. Extra care was given to ensure copy was compliant with legal marketing rules.

Wedding planning can be overwhelming when you focus too much energy on details that don’t really matter to you. Instead, when it came time to plan our wedding, I channeled my excited energy into the graphic design elements for the big day, ensuring it all fit the natural and slightly boho vibe of our Pacific Northwest wedding.

Justin wanted a simple website that would help display his work and make it super easy for customers to get in touch. I let the quality craftsmanship Justin and his team at JD Building and Remodeling provide speak for itself with a minimalist design.
The site is easy for him to update on his own when needed, which was crucial for someone juggling the demands of running a business and raising two young children.
